TAKING A SHOT AT LOVE- a 24 minute short drama with a Hemingway vibe shot on location along the coast of Maine. Winner of 5 awards including Best New Director and Best Actor/ Short Film. The Lions Way film was an Official Selection of the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival, Macon Film Festival, Lewiston Auburn Film Festival and the Downbeach Film Festival in Atlantic City, NJ. Written, Directed and Executive Produced by Jeanne Taylor Shapiro. Edited by RJ Placko with music by Sandro Morales. Matt Thurber was DP.
THE EXCHANGE- a 15 minute film noir shot in Greater Boston. An Official Selection of Naperville Independent Film Festival, Hell's Half Mile Festival and BlissFest. The film also screened in Chicago. Produced by Jeanne Taylor Shapiro of Lions Way Films in conjunction with NTL Films. Written and Directed by Paul Hirschberger.
Jeanne Taylor Shapiro was also Assistant Director on PATRIMONY, a Grey Squirrel short film shown at the 2011 Boston International Film Festival and more recently an Assistant Director on THIS KILLING BUSINESS, an MV Production feature film currently shooting in the Boston area.
